Kirsten McLean

Kirsten offers over 17 years experience in the management of conflict – as a litigator, mediator, in-house counsel, HR professional, risk manager, compliance officer and HR BPO and HR TPO consultant – for domestic and international clients.

A licensed attorney, Kirsten is well-respected in the field of risk assessment and conflict management. During the course of her career, Kirsten has provided conflict management services through the management, education, mediation and resolution of civil and workplace disputes.

As the assistant to the President of the American Medical Association, she had the unique opportunity to work on developing health policy and addressing the complex issues of managing the risk and high cost of conflict in healthcare delivery. As Vice President and General Counsel for a major carrier of malpractice insurance, she successfully mediated numerous disputes between patients, physicians and insurers and provided conflict management services to a number of physician groups and medical professional organizations.

A published author and speaker, Kirsten has contributed to a number of professional journals and conferences on the subjects of Principled Negotiations, Risk Management, Risk Assessment, Employment Discrimination and a wide range of employment practice and conflict management topics.

Kirsten’s experience offers a balanced triad between human resources, operations and risk management – an integrated approach to HR business process outsourcing.
